Chambers fends off Lloyd to take victory in Montreal Race 3

Chloe Chambers secured her maiden victory of the 2025 F1 Academy season in Montreal Race 3, firmly establishing herself as Doriane Pin's closest title rival. The American driver delivered a commanding lights-to-flag performance at the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve, expertly navigating two Safety Car restarts before ultimately taking the checkered flag under a third Safety Car deployment. Ella Lloyd, starting from fourth on the grid, made a blistering start, immediately putting pressure on Chambers. Lloyd's McLaren had an early skirmish with Alisha Palmowski, which sent the Red Bull Racing driver to the back. Despite persistent pressure, Lloyd had to settle for her third consecutive P2 finish of the weekend. Doriane Pin, the current championship leader, narrowly avoided damage in the Palmowski/Lloyd incident, dropping to P5 but skillfully fighting her way back to complete the podium. The race also saw Tina Hausmann narrowly miss a top-three finish, equaling her best F1 Academy result, while Chloe Chong finished fifth ahead of Maya Weug, who made an impressive recovery from P15 on the grid.
