All the ex-F1 drivers competing at Le Mans

As the Formula 1 paddock heads to Montreal, 19 former F1 drivers are set to compete in the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans on June 14-15, 2025. This renowned endurance race has seen past F1 successes, with Nico Hulkenberg winning in 2015 and Fernando Alonso securing back-to-back victories in 2018 and 2019. Notable ex-F1 stars in the Hypercar class include Felipe Nasr and Pascal Wehrlein for Porsche Penske Motorsport, and Kamui Kobayashi, Nyck de Vries, Sebastien Buemi, and Brendon Hartley, all racing for Toyota Gazoo Racing. Will Stevens will compete for Cadillac Hertz Team Jota, while Kevin Magnussen makes his second Le Mans appearance with BMW M Team WRT. Mick Schumacher joins Alpine Endurance Team, and the formidable duo of Sebastien Bourdais and 2009 F1 World Champion Jenson Button will pilot the #38 Cadillac Hertz Team Jota. Reigning Le Mans champion Antonio Giovinazzi returns with Ferrari AF Corse. Robert Kubica, Paul di Resta, and Jean-Eric Vergne will race for AF Corse and Peugeot Totalenergies, respectively. Stoffel Vandoorne also joins Peugeot, and Jack Aitken will be in the #311 Cadillac Whelen. In the LMP2 class, Andre Lotterer, a three-time Le Mans winner, and Pietro Fittipaldi are set to compete. Additionally, Rubens Barrichello's son, Eduardo Barrichello, will make his debut in the LMGT3 class, alongside MotoGP legend Valentino Rossi making his second Le Mans appearance. The event promises thrilling action as these familiar names vie for endurance racing glory.
