Max Verstappen showcased a commanding start at the United States Grand Prix, effortlessly holding his pole position and leading from Lap 1, mirroring his Sprint success. While Verstappen maintained his lead, McLaren's Lando Norris had a less fortunate Turn 1, dropping behind Charles Leclerc into third. His teammate Oscar Piastri, however, made a strong move, climbing to fifth by overtaking George Russell. The opening lap saw a brief double yellow flag due to an incident between Alex Albon and Gabriel Bortoleto, though all 20 cars successfully completed the first tour around the Circuit of The Americas.
