Lando Norris celebrated his maiden Formula 1 World Championship, secured after a thrilling season-long battle against Max Verstappen and teammate Oscar Piastri.
Clinching the title with a third-place finish in Abu Dhabi, Norris reflected on achieving his childhood dream, expressing profound gratitude to his family and the dedicated McLaren team.
He recounted overcoming a significant 34-point deficit, a turnaround he attributed to relentless personal and team effort, alongside invaluable advice from seasoned champions like Sebastian Vettel. Norris acknowledged the fierce competition from Verstappen and Piastri, stating they constantly pushed him to excel.
This historic achievement also marked a constructors' title for McLaren, underscoring a remarkable double success for the team.
