Williams recruit Jade Jacquet for 2026 F1 ACADEMY season

Williams Racing has announced the signing of 16-year-old French talent Jade Jacquet for the 2026 F1 ACADEMY season, making her the latest driver to join their development program. Jacquet, who will race with ART Grand Prix, will also integrate into the Williams Racing Driver Academy, gaining comprehensive support at Grove. Her career began in international karting before progressing to French F4, where she secured multiple top-20 finishes and the Female Trophy. Jacquet also impressed at the inaugural F1 ACADEMY Rookie Test, recording the seventh-fastest time. Williams Sporting Director Sven Smeets praised her rapid progress and potential, reiterating the team's commitment to fostering young talent and advancing female representation in motorsport.
