Norris hopes title win doesn’t change him as a driver
Lando Norris secured his maiden F1 World Championship in 2025, clinching the title by finishing third at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and holding off Max Verstappen by two points. The McLaren driver expressed his desire to maintain his core driving style, emphasizing fairness and consistency, despite acknowledging moments where more aggression might have been an option. Reflecting on his season, which saw him regain the championship lead from teammate Oscar Piastri, Norris admitted there were learning moments, including a collision with Piastri in Canada. He believes he has grown as a driver and looks forward to continued self-improvement while competing against top rivals like Verstappen and Piastri.
