Aston Martin has confirmed its participation in the Barcelona Shakedown later this week, intending to run their AMR26 car on Thursday and Friday. The five-day event at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, which commenced on Monday, allows each team three days of track time. While some teams like McLaren and Ferrari have opted for earlier sessions, and Williams chose not to participate at all to focus on car performance, Aston Martin announced its schedule via social media. This shakedown offers crucial early mileage, ahead of Aston Martin's official launch event for the new season on February 9.
