Hamilton and Leclerc give verdicts on Ferrari upgrade
Ferrari arrives at the Belgian Grand Prix with a revised rear suspension, aiming to extract more performance from their SF-25. However, both Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc are exercising caution regarding the immediate impact of the upgrade.
Hamilton noted no significant difference on the simulator or during initial testing, but expressed satisfaction at the factory's continuous development push. He emphasized that major upgrades take time to yield results, unlike smaller, more frequent updates seen from rivals.
Leclerc echoed this sentiment, believing the new suspension is a step in the right direction but won't single-handedly bridge the current performance gap to competitors like McLaren. The Sprint weekend format at Spa will further challenge the team to quickly understand and optimize the new parts.
