Hulkenberg's good work ‘in the bin’ after Turn 1 collision

Nico Hulkenberg's season-best qualifying performance in the United States Grand Prix Sprint was undone by a dramatic Turn 1 collision with McLaren drivers Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris. Starting fourth, Hulkenberg found himself caught between cars, making contact with Piastri, which then sent Piastri into Norris. Both McLaren drivers were forced to retire, while Hulkenberg had to pit for a new front wing, finishing a frustrating 13th. Despite stewards ruling it a racing incident, Hulkenberg expressed disappointment, feeling all his hard work was "put in the bin." He aimed to rebound in the main qualifying session.
