Watch as Piastri jumps Norris after Belgian GP start
The Belgian Grand Prix began after an 80-minute rain delay and four laps behind the Safety Car. Oscar Piastri seized the lead from McLaren teammate Lando Norris on the opening racing lap at Spa-Francorchamps. Norris, starting from pole, experienced a slide at La Source, allowing Piastri to gain a tow and sweep into first position on the run to Les Combes. Charles Leclerc and Max Verstappen closely followed the McLaren duo, with Alex Albon impressively securing a top-five spot for Williams early in the race. The dramatic start unfolded under challenging wet conditions, setting the stage for an intense Grand Prix.
