Antonelli optimistic after strong Friday showing in Mexico

Mercedes driver Andrea Kimi Antonelli showed strong form in Mexico City Grand Prix practice, finishing second and third in the two sessions. He described Friday as "probably one of the best Fridays I've had in a long time," expressing optimism for a strong race result. Despite a brief engine issue in FP2, quickly resolved, Antonelli's pace looked promising. Teammate George Russell, who missed FP1 for rookie Frederik Vesti, observed the action from the stands before returning to the cockpit for FP2, finishing P6.
