Which rookie drivers are getting FP1 outings in Hungary?
Five F1 teams will field rookie drivers during the first practice session at the Hungarian Grand Prix, fulfilling the regulatory requirement for junior driver participation. McLaren, Mercedes, Alpine, Haas, and Cadillac have all announced adjustments to their driver lineups for this weekend.
Leonardo Fornaroli will take over Oscar Piastri's McLaren, while Fred Vesti is set to replace Mercedes championship leader Kimi Antonelli. Alpine reserve driver Paul Aron will drive in place of Franco Colapinto, and Ryo Hirakawa will step into Oliver Bearman’s Haas. Finally, Colton Herta will participate in the session for Cadillac, taking the seat of Valtteri Bottas.
