What tyres will the teams and drivers have for Austria?

Pirelli has announced the tyre compounds for the 2026 Austrian Grand Prix at the Red Bull Ring. Given the track's fast nature and significant elevation changes, the manufacturer has selected the softest range: C3 (hard), C4 (medium), and C5 (soft). The circuit, situated at 660 metres above sea level, is known for its 'stop-and-go' layout which places thermal stress on the tyres. Pirelli highlights that while wear is not the primary factor, the combination of high track temperatures and the circuit's unique topography will test the drivers' tyre management, particularly under heavy braking on downhill sections.
