Alpine pair Gasly and Colapinto reflect on tough Monza weekend

Alpine endured a challenging Italian Grand Prix, suffering a double Q1 exit and finishing at the rear of the field. Pierre Gasly, starting from the pit lane due to power unit changes, climbed to 16th, while Franco Colapinto finished 17th. Both drivers struggled to find pace at Monza, a circuit that exposed the weaknesses of Alpine's current package. Gasly described the weekend as difficult everywhere but emphasized no frustration, looking ahead to the 2026 regulations and a new car, having signed a long-term deal.
