Audi's upgrade package 'delivering as expected' – Binotto

Audi has introduced a significant upgrade package for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, featuring 14 new aerodynamic components, including revised wings, a floor, and engine cover. Team Principal Mattia Binotto emphasized that while the updates are intended to boost performance, the primary goal is to refine the team's engineering methodologies and manufacturing capabilities. To ensure proper correlation, Gabriel Bortoleto tested the new parts in FP1 for a direct comparison with Nico Hulkenberg’s previous-spec car. While Binotto noted that the data aligns with expectations, Bortoleto reported a lack of grip during FP2, attributing the challenging car balance to the low-grip, dusty nature of the Baku street circuit.
