F1 ACADEMY announces landmark rookie test

F1 ACADEMY will host its inaugural rookie test on September 17-18 at Circuito de Navarra, aiming to identify the top female driving talent for the 2026 season. Eighteen promising drivers, aged 15-21 and eligible for 2026, have been selected to participate. This two-day event offers a unique platform, providing six hours of on-track experience in F1 ACADEMY machinery under identical conditions. Participants will also engage in immersive team observations, including briefing and engineering sessions, and undergo research-led physical and cognitive assessments by "More than Equal" to support their development. Susie Wolff, Managing Director, emphasized this as a landmark moment for the sport, ensuring the best talent competes.
