Ferrari drivers critical of Italy Qualifying strategy

Ferrari faced a disappointing qualifying session at their home race in Monza, with Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton securing only P4 and P5 after failing to execute an optimal strategy. Charles Leclerc echoed these sentiments, revealing that a battery issue in Q2 further hampered their momentum, and insisted that the team must strive for perfection to compete for pole. Despite the frustration, Leclerc praised Pierre Gasly's performance, noting that while Alpine may not have the fastest car, their flawless execution on track made the difference. Following Oscar Piastri’s grid penalty, Leclerc and Hamilton will inherit the second row, starting third and fourth for Sunday’s Italian Grand Prix.
