Former Haas boss Steiner leads MotoGP team acquisition

Guenther Steiner, former Haas F1 team boss, is set to make a full-scale return to motorsport management by heading a consortium acquiring the Red Bull KTM Tech3 MotoGP team. Having led Haas from its 2016 debut until early 2024, Steiner will assume the CEO role at Red Bull KTM Tech3, working with sports management specialist Richard Coleman, who becomes Team Principal. The new structure will take full effect from 2026. Steiner expressed excitement about the "fantastic opportunity" to build on Tech3's legacy and bring MotoGP to new audiences, marking a significant transition from F1 punditry back to a leadership position in a different racing discipline.
