Gene Haas drives one of his own F1 cars
Gene Haas, founder of the Haas F1 team, marked a special occasion by getting behind the wheel of his own VF-23 car at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Celebrating 10 years of his team and 75 years of F1, Haas described the experience as "very tight" and complex, noting the challenge of driving a fast car slowly. Team boss Ayao Komatsu also took to the famous hill in last year's VF-24, expressing immense enjoyment and gratitude for the "privilege" of driving such machinery in the iconic setting. Both highlighted the unique challenges and excitement of the event, providing a memorable moment for the American F1 outfit.
