Hadjar encouraged by first day back in his upgraded Red Bull

Isack Hadjar returned to action at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix after missing recent races due to a wrist injury. Despite losing track time in FP1 due to a gearbox issue, he managed a productive FP2 session, finishing ninth and expressing confidence in the RB22's updated package, which he described as feeling better than before his injury break. Red Bull Technical Director Pierre Wache confirmed the team's upgrades met expectations, though he noted that Mercedes appears currently ahead in pace. Adding to his positive return, Hadjar received confirmation that he will remain as Max Verstappen's teammate at Red Bull for the 2027 season. The team expressed satisfaction with the performance of their latest upgrades, including revisions to the floor and diffuser, as they prepare for the remainder of the weekend in Baku.
