Perez apologises for Cadillac collision in China

In the Chinese Grand Prix, Cadillac teammates Sergio Perez and Valtteri Bottas experienced a first-lap collision while fighting for position. Perez, who spun during the incident, took full responsibility for the move, apologizing to both Bottas and the team for the optimistic maneuver. Despite the contact, both drivers managed to finish the race, with Bottas taking P13 and Perez finishing 15th. Bottas expressed no hard feelings, noting that such incidents are part of racing and that he is proud of the team's progress in only their second Grand Prix. Team principal Graeme Lowdon highlighted the achievement of getting both cars to the finish line, especially given the technical difficulties faced by other teams during the weekend.
