Alpine locks out front row after qualifying cancelled at Fuji

The Alpine Endurance Team will start the 2026 6 Hours of Fuji from the front row after qualifying was cancelled due to heavy rain. Grid positions were determined by the fastest free practice times, awarding the #36 Alpine pole position ahead of the #35 sister car. Following a penalty for the #007 Aston Martin, the #19 Genesis GMR-001 moved up to third, while Proton Competition’s #77 Ford Mustang secured pole in the LMGT3 category.
