Ocon admits ‘really aggressive strategy’ did not pay off in Baku

Haas similarly left Baku empty-handed, with Ollie Bearman finishing 12th and Esteban Ocon 14th after a challenging Azerbaijan Grand Prix. Ocon's race was compromised from the outset, starting last due to a technical infringement disqualification in qualifying, and suffering a Lap 1 collision that necessitated an early pit stop for a puncture. His aggressive two-stop strategy ultimately failed to yield points. Bearman’s Q2 crash meant a P15 start, making progress difficult despite showing good pace, as he spent much of the race stuck behind other cars. Both drivers highlighted the team’s ongoing issues and the critical need for "clean weekends" free of problems to compete effectively. Haas currently sits ninth in the Constructors' Championship.
