Bortoleto handed penalty after yellow flag infringement

Audi driver Gabriel Bortoleto has been handed a 10-second time penalty following the Azerbaijan Grand Prix for overtaking under a yellow flag. Despite the team's struggles in Baku, stewards determined the Brazilian bypassed Sergio Perez's Cadillac while yellow flags were displayed between Turns 6 and 7. While Bortoleto argued that no electronic signals or Safety Car deployments were indicated, officials maintained that a waved yellow flag must be respected regardless of supplemental warnings, ultimately dropping him to 15th place.
