Williams FP1 outings for Browning in Barcelona and Austria

Williams reserve driver Luke Browning is set to participate in Free Practice 1 at the upcoming Barcelona and Austrian Grand Prix weekends. The 24-year-old, who joined the Williams Driver Academy in 2023 and currently competes in Super Formula, will drive the FW48 to fulfill the team's rookie practice requirements. Browning will take over the car from Alexander Albon in Barcelona and Carlos Sainz in Austria. Williams Sporting Director Sven Smeets praised Browning's simulator work and on-track performance, noting that these sessions are a key step in his development as part of the team's young driver program.
