Lawson and Sainz offer differing views on Dutch Grand Prix collision

Liam Lawson (Racing Bulls) and Carlos Sainz (Williams) both left the Dutch Grand Prix frustrated after a collision ruined their points chances. The incident on Lap 26 saw Sainz attempt an overtake on Lawson into Turn 1, resulting in contact and punctures for both drivers, who ultimately finished 12th and 13th. Sainz, penalised for the collision, expressed deep frustration, accusing Lawson of aggressive defending and risking incidents, an action he claimed wasn't new. Lawson, however, defended his driving, asserting he followed regulations as Sainz was not ahead at the apex, justifying the penalty. The unfortunate event for both drivers contrasted with Racing Bulls teammate Isack Hadjar's maiden F1 podium.
