P3 ‘perfect start to my Red Bull career’ – Hadjar
Isack Hadjar delivered an impressive debut qualifying performance for Red Bull, securing P3 for the Australian Grand Prix. He hailed it a "perfect start" to his Red Bull career, despite admitting the day felt like "damage limitation" after teammate Max Verstappen's early Q1 crash. As Red Bull's sole challenger, Hadjar notably split the Mercedes duo, qualifying behind George Russell and Kimi Antonelli. While pleased with his smooth session and strong lap, he acknowledged the car's current weaknesses and the significant work ahead. Hadjar aims to hold his podium position in Sunday's race, targeting a second career rostrum finish, despite feeling the Mercedes cars are currently "too fast".
