Leclerc insists Ferrari moving in ‘right direction’
Ferrari celebrated a return to the podium at the Austrian Grand Prix, with Charles Leclerc securing third place after a challenging Canadian outing.
Leclerc lauded Ferrari's "great job" in delivering effective floor upgrades to the SF-25, which helped the team bounce back.
Despite losing a position early to Oscar Piastri, Leclerc maintained a strong pace, acknowledging McLaren's superior speed.
He emphasized that while the upgrades are a step in the right direction, further work is needed to close the gap.
Teammate Lewis Hamilton also highlighted the positives, noting the significant progress and reduction in deficit to the leaders.
This strong showing propelled Ferrari back to second in the Constructors' Championship, a point ahead of rivals Mercedes.
