Catch up on FP1 from Sao Paulo as Norris goes fastest

Lando Norris led a McLaren one-two in the sole Free Practice 1 session for the Sao Paulo Grand Prix, narrowly beating teammate Oscar Piastri. With the Sprint weekend format in play, drivers quickly pushed to fine-tune their cars, leading to a busy session. Norris clocked a 1m 09.975s lap, just 0.023s ahead of Piastri. Nico Hulkenberg impressed with third place for Kick Sauber, ahead of Fernando Alonso and Gabriel Bortoleto. Red Bull's Yuki Tsunoda spun and hit the barriers early on, while championship leader Max Verstappen finished down in P17 without setting a representative flying lap, making for an intriguing start to the weekend.
