This win marks Toyota's return to the top step of the podium after a four-year hiatus. For former Formula 1 drivers de Vries and Kobayashi, along with Conway, the victory holds significant personal value, marking a second Le Mans triumph for both Kobayashi and Conway, and a maiden victory for de Vries.
