Krack reflects on ‘emotional’ first run for new Aston Martin

Aston Martin officially unveiled their new AMR26 challenger on Thursday, with Lance Stroll completing its inaugural laps at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya shakedown. Despite a "late" arrival for the final day of testing, Chief Trackside Officer Mike Krack expressed pride in the team's achievement, highlighting the significant efforts alongside new power unit partners Honda and the debut of Adrian Newey's first Aston Martin design. Stroll, who took the car out for initial installation runs, reported it "felt good" and was an "exciting" experience. Fernando Alonso is set to drive the AMR26 on Friday.
