The club Norris joins with 40 consecutive Q3 appearances

At the British Grand Prix, Lando Norris joined an elite group of F1 drivers by securing his 40th consecutive Q3 appearance, a milestone only six drivers in history have reached. The McLaren driver's consistent qualifying performance has been a hallmark of his career, with his current streak dating back to the 2024 Singapore Grand Prix. Norris joins a legendary list of names on this record, including Sebastian Vettel, who managed 41 appearances, and Kimi Raikkonen, who reached 53 during his second stint with Ferrari and subsequent time at Alfa Romeo. Nico Rosberg also features with 60 consecutive appearances during his championship-winning era at Mercedes, while Lewis Hamilton boasts a streak of 61 from 2010 to 2013. The all-time record is held by Valtteri Bottas, who achieved a remarkable 97 consecutive Q3 appearances between the 2017 Australian Grand Prix and the 2022 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. Following his tenure at Mercedes, Bottas now competes for Cadillac, where he focuses on helping the team achieve its goal of breaking into Q2.
