Tsolov’s final lap overtake earns him F2 Sprint Race win

Nikola Tsolov secured his fifth victory of the F2 season in a dramatic Silverstone Sprint Race, overtaking championship rival Gabriele Minì on the final lap. Starting from sixth, the Campos Racing driver moved up to second early on and patiently stalked Minì, capitalizing on the MP Motorsport driver's lockup at the Loop to make his move on the Wellington straight. Rafael Villagómez finished third for Van Amersfoort Racing, while Dino Beganovic delivered an impressive charge from 11th to 6th. The action at Silverstone continues on Sunday with the upcoming Feature Race.
