Tsunoda reviews Madrid outing after sustaining 'big damage'

Yuki Tsunoda’s race at the Madrid Grand Prix proved to be a difficult outing, as he finished 14th for Racing Bulls after a collision with Carlos Sainz at the first corner left his car significantly damaged. This race marked his third appearance as a replacement for Liam Lawson, and with his future in Formula 1 uncertain, the early incident hindered his ability to compete despite demonstrating decent pace earlier in the weekend. Reflecting on the weekend, Tsunoda noted that he struggled with a lack of tyre grip and overall performance from Saturday's qualifying onwards. Despite his frustration and the car damage sustained, he managed to show flashes of pace later in the race once clear air allowed him to push, but ultimately he could not bridge the gap to higher positions, ending the day behind his teammate Arvid Lindblad.
