Williams reveal special livery ahead of Spanish GP in Madrid

Williams has unveiled a special, one-off livery for the upcoming Spanish Grand Prix in Madrid, paying homage to their 1981 championship-winning FW07C. The design, featuring a white, green, and navy blue scheme, will be raced by Carlos Sainz and Alex Albon on the new Madrid circuit. Team Principal James Vowles emphasized that the livery represents a connection between the team's historical success and its current ambition to return to the front of the grid. The design was officially revealed at a fan event in Madrid, attended by local hero Carlos Sainz. For Sainz, the race marks a special homecoming in the city where he was born and raised. Williams currently sits ninth in the Constructors' Championship and hopes this tribute to their heritage will inspire a strong performance as they hunt for their first points since Monaco.
