IONIQ 5 N named 'Five-Star Car' at 2025 Autocar Awards

Hyundai Motor Company's high-performance electric vehicle, the IONIQ 5 N, has been named a 'Five-Star Car' by the prestigious British automotive magazine Autocar, marking the first time a Hyundai vehicle has received this honor. Autocar, which has operated a road test program for approximately 100 years, selects its 'Five-Star Car' based on vehicles that set new standards in every aspect. The IONIQ 5 N was praised for its advanced chassis control technology, dynamic performance, and immersive driving experience—rare traits in the high-performance EV segment. Notably, the 'N e-shift' feature, which simulates the gear shifts and engine braking of an internal combustion engine, was highlighted as a major factor in providing a unique, engaging experience.
