Toyota secured a victory at the 6 Hours of Fuji after a strategic gamble under a late safety car period allowed the #8 Hypercar to vault into the lead. Ryō Hirakawa held off a late charge from Alpine, whose cautious tyre strategy initially dropped them behind, to claim the win alongside Sébastien Buemi and Brendon Hartley. This result moves the #8 crew to the top of the Drivers’ World Championship standings.
