Albon 'very happy' for Sainz after podium in Baku

Carlos Sainz secured his maiden podium for Williams at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, finishing a brilliant P3. This achievement brought immense pride to his teammate Alex Albon and the entire Williams team. Starting second, Sainz executed a flawless race, initially holding off competitors and later defending against Mercedes' Andrea Kimi Antonelli to clinch the team's first rostrum since 2021.While Sainz celebrated, Albon endured a challenging weekend. After clipping barriers in qualifying, he started from the back and later received a 10-second penalty for a collision with Franco Colapinto, ultimately finishing P13. Albon acknowledged his qualifying incident "did the damage," making progress difficult in the low-degradation race.
