Catch up on FP1 from Austin as Norris goes fastest

Lando Norris set the fastest time in the United States Grand Prix's sole practice session, clocking an impressive 1m 33.294s lap. The McLaren driver topped the charts ahead of Kick Sauber's Nico Hulkenberg, who put in a strong late effort to finish second, just 0.255s behind. Norris's teammate Oscar Piastri secured third place, 0.279s off the pace. The Sprint format weekend saw drivers quickly hit the Circuit of The Americas to maximize track time. However, it was a challenging session for some, with Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc facing reliability issues, while Lewis Hamilton and Esteban Ocon also reported problems.
