Haas’ best off-track moments 10 years on from their debut
Haas celebrates its 10th anniversary in Formula 1, reflecting on a decade marked by both competitive spirit and unique off-track personality. Since joining in 2016, the American team has become a fan favourite, famously highlighted by their unfiltered portrayal in the Netflix series 'Drive to Survive', which showcased the authentic leadership of former team principal Guenther Steiner.
The team has also been defined by its memorable driver pairings, from the unexpected friendship between Kevin Magnussen and Nico Hulkenberg to the mentorship between Sebastian Vettel and Mick Schumacher. Beyond the competition, the team has pushed boundaries, most notably with Laura Mueller becoming the first full-time female race engineer, an achievement celebrated alongside Hannah Schmitz with a dedicated corner at the Albert Park Circuit.
From overcoming dramatic moments like Romain Grosjean’s 2020 accident to celebrating historic pole positions and iconic special liveries at home races in Austin and beyond, Haas has cemented its place in the paddock. Now, with the current duo of Esteban Ocon and Oliver Bearman, the team looks forward to continuing its legacy of grit, humour, and innovation.
