Piastri wins wet-dry Belgian GP ahead of Norris

Oscar Piastri secured a crucial victory at the wet-dry Belgian Grand Prix, extending his Drivers’ Championship lead over McLaren teammate Lando Norris to 16 points. Starting behind pole-sitter Norris, Piastri made a decisive move on Lap 5 through Eau Rouge and Kemmel Straight to take the lead. He then managed the gap effectively, pitting earlier for medium tyres while Norris took hards, creating a significant advantage. Despite Norris's late charge, Piastri held firm to cross the finish line 3.4 seconds ahead. Charles Leclerc completed the podium for Ferrari, successfully fending off Max Verstappen. Further down, George Russell was fifth, Alex Albon sixth, and Lewis Hamilton climbed impressively from the pit lane to seventh for Ferrari.
