Tsolov completes first F1 test with Racing Bulls
F2 championship leader and Red Bull junior, Nikola Tsolov, has completed his maiden Formula 1 test with Racing Bulls at the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola. The 19-year-old completed 690km as part of the Testing of Previous Cars (TPC) programme, marking a significant milestone in his professional development.
Tsolov expressed his excitement after the session, describing the experience as a lifelong goal finally realized. Racing Bulls Team Principal Alan Permane praised Tsolov's quick adaptation and composed driving during the test, highlighting the importance of the team's ongoing junior development initiatives.
While speculation grows regarding Tsolov's potential role in the Racing Bulls 2027 lineup, the F2 driver remains focused on his championship campaign. Currently leading the F2 standings by 20 points, Tsolov will return to competitive action next weekend at the Monza circuit.
