Hyundai Motor Company Hosts Korea's Largest Sim Racing Esports Tournament, '2026 Hyundai N Virtual Cup'

Hyundai Motor Company has announced the 2026 Hyundai N Virtual Cup, the largest sim-racing e-sports championship in South Korea, aiming to foster a new automotive culture that merges e-sports with motorsports. Following online qualifiers starting August 14, the competition will take place over three rounds across Seoul, Yongin, and Busan. The official racing game is Gran Turismo 7, and participants will compete using the Hyundai N 2025 Vision Gran Turismo. Each event will feature Hyundai N sim-racing experience zones, displays of high-performance N vehicles and race cars, and various youth programs. Round 1 will be held on September 20 at DDP in Seoul, followed by Round 2 on October 30 at Yongin Everland Speedway in conjunction with the Hyundai N Festival final, and the final round on November 22 at G-STAR in Busan. Through this initiative, Hyundai aims to expand its N Brand fanbase and contribute to the growth of the local e-sports and gaming industry.
