Camara to make F1 debut for Haas in Sao Paulo

Ferrari junior and Formula 2 leader Rafael Camara will make his F1 debut with Haas at the Sao Paulo Grand Prix, replacing Esteban Ocon for the remainder of the season. Ocon, who is leaving Haas at the end of the year, will not return to the cockpit following his initial absence in Mexico City where reserve driver Ryo Hirakawa stepped in. Camara, who is already confirmed for a Haas race seat for 2027, gets his early opportunity due to Hirakawa's WEC commitments. Team Principal Ayao Komatsu emphasized that the decision was made in the team's best interests, while expressing excitement to welcome the Brazilian driver alongside Oliver Bearman for his home race in Brazil.
