Hamilton and Leclerc split on Ferrari's Zandvoort changes
Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc experienced contrasting fortunes during Qualifying for the Dutch Grand Prix. Hamilton, who struggled earlier in the weekend, praised significant setup changes that restored his confidence, allowing him to secure P5. He noted that the balance of his car was much improved, expressing optimism for the race despite potential tire issues.
Conversely, Charles Leclerc was left frustrated after qualifying in P6. The Monegasque driver struggled with inconsistent car behavior caused by changing engine modes and felt his preparation laps were less effective compared to his rivals. With Zandvoort being a difficult circuit for overtaking, Leclerc admitted his starting position was far from ideal and emphasized the need for a strong start to recover.
