Leclerc warns against ‘high expectations’ at US GP
Charles Leclerc topped the practice sessions at the United States Grand Prix following Ferrari's introduction of new aerodynamic upgrades, including a revised floor, sidepod inlet, and diffuser. Despite the strong start, Leclerc urged caution, noting that their gains are modest and rival teams like Max Verstappen and Kimi Antonelli still hold significant potential to unlock.
Ferrari Team Principal Fred Vasseur echoed these sentiments, emphasizing that the field remains extremely tight and that the true impact of their upgrade package requires careful finetuning. Both figures agree that up to six cars could contend for pole position, pointing to a highly competitive remainder of the weekend at the Circuit of The Americas.
