Norris edges out Hamilton and Antonelli during FP3 in Hungary

McLaren's Lando Norris set the fastest time during the final practice session at the Hungaroring, recording a 1m 17.939s lap. He led a tight field that included Ferrari's Lewis Hamilton in second and Mercedes' Kimi Antonelli in third, with the top contenders closely matched ahead of Qualifying. The session saw significant disruption, most notably a red flag triggered by Sergio Perez when his Cadillac suffered a mechanical failure and brake issue at Turn 2. Other drivers dealt with their own setbacks, including Arvid Lindblad dealing with a power unit issue at Racing Bulls and Franco Colapinto returning to the track after his heavy crash on Friday. As the session concluded, Charles Leclerc and Oscar Piastri rounded out the top five, while the Red Bull pair of Max Verstappen and Isack Hadjar struggled to match the front-running pace, finishing seventh and eighth. With the field tightly packed, the battle for pole position promises to be highly competitive.
