Zhou Guanyu joins Cadillac as reserve driver for 2026

Former Sauber F1 driver Zhou Guanyu has been confirmed as Cadillac's reserve driver ahead of their highly anticipated Formula 1 debut in 2026. Zhou, who raced for Alfa Romeo/Kick Sauber from 2022 to 2024, brings valuable recent F1 experience to the new American squad. He will join a line-up that includes race drivers Valtteri Bottas and Sergio Perez, with Colton Herta as test driver. Having previously served as a reserve for Ferrari, who will supply Cadillac's power units, Zhou's expertise in car development and trackside operations will be crucial.
