Despite a mistake at the first corner allowing Charles Leclerc to take the lead, the Mercedes driver fought back to reclaim the top spot after a mid-race Safety Car period caused by incidents involving Pierre Gasly and Isack Hadjar. Antonelli managed to hold off intense pressure from McLaren’s Lando Norris to take the win, while teammate Oscar Piastri rounded out the podium following late-race drama. Ferrari's Charles Leclerc suffered a significant setback on the final lap, spinning into the wall and dropping to sixth, allowing George Russell and Max Verstappen to capitalize.
