Alan Permane handed Racing Bulls Team Principal renewal

Racing Bulls Team Principal Alan Permane has signed a long-term contract extension keeping him with the Faenza-based squad until the end of 2031. Permane, who joined the team in January 2024 and became Team Principal in July 2025 following Laurent Mekies' move to Red Bull, has overseen major milestones, including the team's first VCARB podium at the 2025 Dutch Grand Prix and a sixth-place finish in the Constructors' Championship. Red Bull CEO Oliver Mintzlaff praised the extension for providing stability and continuity, highlighting Permane's leadership alongside Co-CEO Commercial Peter Bayer. With over three decades of F1 experience—including championship successes with Michael Schumacher and Fernando Alonso—Permane expressed pride in continuing his journey as the team aims for a career-best fifth-place finish in the championship.
